                                                                            Dr. Michael Vallance is a Professor in the Department of Media Architecture at Future University

                                                                            Hakodate, Japan. Michael has been involved in educational technology implementation, design

                                                                            and research since Apple released Hypercard some 20 years ago. He has worked with schools,

                                                                            pre-service teachers and computer companies in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. He is currently

                                                                            involved in a number of ICT-enabled research projects such as Communicating Design, Podmaps,

                                                                            pingpong-Twitter, Digital Curriculum Mapping, Digitally Enabled Futures Images (DEFI), and

                                                                            Virtual Collaborative Spaces.
